We are purpose driven.

Our mission is to help people "Play in a Bigger Space" by transforming their defining moments in life. Our leadership is defined and impacted by how we see ourselves and the world, which in part, becomes a self-fulling prophecy.  Every day, leaders make decisions and take actions that can help or hinder themselves or others. Your ability to create a culture that supports trust, empowerment,  innovation, and growth is paramount to success. Think of leadership like being a flight instructor. If you never turn over control to others, they will never be able to take off and land big initiatives, or everyday decisions, whether big or small.

Applicable to formal and informal leadership.

You don’t need a formal title of “leader” to make a difference to the bottom line or in the lives of the people with whom you work. You need a vision of what could be better, trust, relationship building skills and a desire to be in service to others. When that spark or epiphany happens at whatever level, change and transformation truly has a chance to take root.

We anchor our model in practices that are practical, proven and powerful. The models and practices of G.R.A.C.E. at Work are robust, suitable for work, home, and community involvement. While complementing and reflecting proven leadership theories and practices, the principles and practices of G.R.A.C.E. are fundamentally grounded in the golden rule. We stive to honor people and backgrounds from different walks of life, perspectives, and cultures. If we begin and end our interactions with goodwill, our clients are more likely to make deposits of trust in our relationship.

A holistic approach to understanding the human experience.

We believe that human beings operate with a level of complexity that involves physical. intellectual, emotional and spiritual entities and energies individually and collectively. Furthermore, our  training will engage our participants with concepts and practices that can maximize your performance by increasing your potential while minimizing or mitigating your interference. Simply put, we leverage Tim Gallwey’s equation where Performance = Potential – Interference.

Scalable and sustainable applications to life.

Many of us want to make a difference in the lives of our colleagues, friends and family, and the community at large. GRACE at Work has been engaged in volunteer work with a recovery program in the greater Richmond, Virginia for over 15 years with men returning from the Richmond jail. The principles and practices we espouse and model for our corporate clients are the same ones we use in our volunteer work with our returning citizens who are looking for a second chance and a better approach to life. GRACE at Work is working hard to create new connections and new relationships between segments of the community that would never otherwise be in conversation with each other.

Bottom Line.

We believe that everything in life and leadership, happens by way of a conversation and a relationship. If you want to change the relationship, you have to change the conversation. Likewise, if you want better results, you have to change the conversation. We help you understand how to maximize the business case for change with the people case for change.
